Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) Construction Grade are water soluble, nonionic cellulose ethers, which are offered as free flowing powder or in granular form. HPMC can be seen as a generic term for mixed etherification cellulose ethers. Common to these cellulose ethers is the methoxylation. Additionally, the reaction can be achieved with propylene oxide.
