Detergent Grade HPMC
Detergent grade HPMC Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can be used in hand sanitizer,liquid detergents, hand washing, laundry detergents,soaps,glue etc. It has high transparency and good thickening effect. It is made by using high-quality refined cotton as raw material and undergoing etherification under alkaline conditions.
Main Features
1. Appearance: white or almost white powder.
2. Granularity: The pass rate of 100 mesh is greater than 98.5%; the pass rate of 80 mesh is 100%.
3. Apparent density: 0.25-0.70g/cm (usually around 0.5g/cm), specific gravity 1.26-1.31.
4. Solubility: soluble in water and some solvents. High transparency and stable performance. Different specifications of products have different gel temperatures, and solubility changes with viscosity. The lower the viscosity, the greater the solubility. Different specifications of HPMC have certain differences in performance. The dissolution of HPMC in water is not affected by pH.
5. With the decrease of methoxy group content, the gel point of HPMC increases, the water solubility decreases, and the surface activity also decreases.
6. HPMC also has the characteristics of thickening ability, pH stability, water retention, excellent film-forming properties, and extensive enzyme resistance, dispersibility and adhesion.

Product Properties
The detergent grade HPMC mainly are instant soluble HPMC, which is surface treated with delayed solution , it can be easily soluble in cold water. The difference between the instant soluble HPMC hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and the non surface treated HPMC is that it disperses in cold water, but does not dissolve after dispersing, and will form a transparent viscous state after a period of time. Instant soluble HPMC hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose can be used not only in liquid detergent, but also in liquid glue . This hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose product will not immediately stick when placed in water, so that various materials can be mixed evenly.
In the liquid glue, the instant soluble hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) must be used, because the hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is only dispersed in water without real dissolution. About 2 minutes, the viscosity of the liquid gradually increased, forming a transparent viscous colloid. The recommended dosage of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) in liquid glue is 2-4kg.

Storage
Store in a ventilated and dry place indoors, pay attention to moisture. Pay attention to rain and sun protection during transportation.
