KimaCell™ Hydroxyethyl cellulose ether (HEC) is a class of non-ionic water-soluble polymers. Its apparent form is a flowing white powder. HEC is a kind of hydroxylalkyl cellulose ether produced by the reaction of cellulose with ethylene oxide in alkaline medium. The reaction process is strictly controlled to ensure the quality stability of products from batch to batch. High purity HEC(dry weight) is used in the personal care and cosmetic industries.
KimaCell™ hydroxyethyl cellulose solutions are pseudoplastic or shear thinning fluids. As a result, KimaCell™ personal care products formulated with hydroxyethyl cellulose are thick when taken out of the container, but spread easily on hair and skin.
KimaCell™ hydroxyethyl cellulose is easily soluble in cold or hot water and provides high transparency in different viscosity. In addition, low to medium molecular weight hydroxyethylcellulose is completely soluble in glycerol and has good solubility in water-ethanol systems (up to 60% ethanol).
KimaCell ™ hydroxy ethyl cellulose was used as adhesive, adhesive agent, filling cement mixed material, coating and fluorescent whitening agent additives, polymer coating, filtration control additives, wet strength agent, protective colloid, springback control and sliding reductant, rheological modifier, lubrication and operability enhancer, suspension stabilizer, shape keep strengthening agent and thickener.
KimaCell™ hydroxyethyl cellulose is used in a variety of markets, including adhesives and sealants, advanced ceramics, construction and construction, ceramics, ceramics, commercial and public institutions, oil and gas technology, metal castings and casting, paints and coatings, personal care products, pharmaceuticals and paper and pulp.
