Physical properties
1. Appearance: HEMC is white or almost white fibrous or granular powder; odorless.
2. Solubility: The HEMC can dissolve in cold water .
3. Apparent density: 0.30-0.60g/m3.
4. MHEC has the characteristics of thickening, suspension, dispersion, adhesion, emulsification, film formation, and water retention. Its water retention is stronger than that of methyl cellulose, and its viscosity stability, anti-fungal and dispersibility are stronger.
Methyl Hydroxyethyl Cellulose(MHEC) is non-ionic high molecular polymer, it is white or almost white powder. It is soluble in cold water but insoluble in hot water. 1.Cement-based plaster
